Venus Bleeds is an autodidactic queer singer, songwriter, director, composer, poet and visual artist from Beirut, Lebanon. After surviving the biggest explosion in history in Beirut on August 4th 2020, he has since worked with industry giants like Coldplay, Flume and Jean-Michel Jarre.

His musical creations on CATHARSIS, the first EP, contrast howling vocals with classical string and electronic-synth arrangements that interpolate in anamorphic eerie visuals to set a mystifying, vulnerable mood. Venus has been described as an electronic reiteration of horrorcore queer cult-pop classics vibrating over emotive Gregorian-like chants that holistically resonate within the listener's utmost core. Subjects like middle eastern tragedy, gender diversification, shapeshifting, intersectional feminism, queer trauma and perception of vulnerability are clearly present throughout their universe.
